트로트와 재즈의 솔직하고 유쾌한 만남, 펀츠
‘뽕쯔 프로젝트’로 2016년부터 본격적인 활동을 시작하여, 이름을 ‘펀츠(Funzz)’로 새롭게 명하고, ‘사랑의 배터리’, ‘불티’와 같이 전주만 듣고도 따라 부를 수 있는 전국민의 애창곡을 색다른 편곡으로 들려주는 펀츠는, 남녀노소 상관없이 전국민 누구나 편하고 쉽게, 그리고 흥겹게 즐길 수 있는 무대를 선사한다.
이들의 모토는 바로 트로트와 재즈의 솔직하고 유쾌한 만남이다.
김동률, 이승환, 박정현, 김윤아, 신화 등 국내 정상급 가수들의 공연 및 녹음 세션은 물론, MBC 나는 가수다, TVN 노래의 탄생, MBC 듀엣 가요제 등 TV 방송 세션으로도 활약하고 있는 실력파 연주자들로 구성된 펀츠는, 얼마 전 듀엣 가요제에서 휘성의 파트너로 출연해 폭발적인 가창력으로 모두를 놀라게 한 신예 보컬리스트 안수민과 함께 합류하여 총 6인조로 이루어져 있다.
정교하고 파워 넘치는 연주, 세련된 편곡, 그리고 재치 넘치는 입담과 노래까지 즐거운 재즈를 선사할 펀츠의 멋진 공연을 올해 재즈 팔레트 무대에서 만나보자.
Honest and fun meeting teuroteu and jazz, Funzz
Starting 2016, ‘Ponzz Project’ performing actively, changed its name as ‘Funzz’. Funzz rearranges nation’s songs such as ‘Love’s Batteries’ and ‘Spark’ with different style. The team gives every audience to easily enjoy the music without age or gender boundaries. The team’s motto is a fun meeting between teurouteu and jazz. Major talented musicians of Funzz were working with the nation’s top major singers such as Seunghwn Lee, Jeonghyun Park, Yoona Kim, and Shinhwa, and performing at MBC I’m a Singer, TVN The Birth of Songs, MBC Duet Singing Festival, and more. Funzz is now with 6 members including new vocalist Soomin Ahn who was singing as a partner of Hwiseong at MBC Duet Singing Festival, surprised the audience. Detailed and powerful performance, decent rearrangements, witty talks and vocals, meet fun jazz from Funzz at the Jazz Palette in Jarasum this year.
