HOW TO GO TO GA-PYEONG

ITX Train

Yong-san Station →　Gapyeong Station : 60 minutes (KRW 5,200)
Cheongnyangni Station → Gapyeong Station : 40 minutes (KRW 4,300)

Gyeongchun-line Subway

Sangbong Station (Bound for Chuncheon) → Gapyeong Station : 50~60 minutes (About KRW 2,000 / proportional to traveling distance)

Bus

• #7000 : From Jamsil Station to Gapyeong Bus Terminal
  the bus stop is located 150m away from Jamsil Subway Station Gate #5

• #1330-2 : From Cheongnyangni Station Transfer Bus Stop to Gapyeong Bus Terminal
  the first / last bus : 07:10 / 24:30
• Intercity Bus : From Dong Seoul Bus Terminal to Gapyeong Bus Terminal (About every 30 minutes, bound for Chuncheon)
  the first / last bus : 06:35 / 22:05

Car

It takes about 50 minutes when taking Seoul-Chuncheon highway from Jamsil, Seoul. Taking Hwado IC is the fastest way to come on weekdays, but during the festival, Seo-jong IC, Seorak IC, and Gangchon IC is highly recommended to avoid congestion. Both from uptown and downtown of Seoul, you will come to Gapyeong through Daeseung-ri and Chungpyeung.

• High level of congestion is expected during festival period. Please expect more time than usual. Using public transportation will take you to Jarasum more convenient and faster.

FROM GAPYEONG TO JARASUM

From Gapyeong Station

After taking off the train (or subway), please exit the station (only one exit). Turn left when you exit the station and go straight about 500m. When you see Seven-Eleven (convenience store) take your right turn.

From here, slow down your speed of walking and keep going straight while you are enjoying the scenery and street full of jazz musicians’ faces. At one point, you will see the entrance of Ehawon. Now you are entering an island of jazz and festival, Jarasum.

From Gapyeong Terminal

After taking off the bus, please exit the terminal (only one exit). Turn left when you exit the terminal, you will see CU Convenient store. Take the street in front of the store and go straight. Walk 20 minuets and turn right when you meet tri-intersection.

From here, slow down your speed of walking and keep going straight while you are enjoying the scenery and street full of jazz musicians’ faces. After staying on the road for 1km, now you are entering an island of jazz and festival, Jarasum.
