2017 PHOTO 보러가기‘Jarasum Jazz Friends’ is a project introducing collaboration programs with JIJF. This year, ‘Jisan Vally Rock Festival’ and ‘Le French Code’ are working together with JIJF as Jarasum Friends this year.
First Freinds is <Jarasum Jazz X Vally Rock> Jazz Ensemble, Melomance, Sunwoo Jung-A
Korea’s two top festivals ‘Jarasum International Jazz Festival(JIJF)’ and ‘2017 Jisan Vally Rock Music & Arts Festival(Jisan Vally Rock)’ are meeting this year with selective musicians as representatives of each festival for the stages. Melomance and Sunwoo Jung-A as representatives of Jisan Vally Rock and Jarasum Jazz Ensemble as a representative of JIJF will perform together at this stage. This project started its first stage at Jisan Vally Rock on July 29(Sat), and the second stage will be at the Festival Lounge on October 20(Fri) in Jarasum.

Jarasum Jazz Ensemble has been specially organized for the Jarasum Jazz X Vally Rock project, consist of active jazz musicians covering various genres and winners of Jarasum International Jazz Concurs. The team has 5 members — saxophonist Hyunphil Shin who performs actively in various music genres, talented drummer Dongjin Shin, classical and jazz saxophonist Seungwon Lee, acoustic, electric, improvising, to solo guitarist Jinsoo Kim, and bassist Sang-e Jung performs comforting and wide colors of music.

Sentimental emotional duo ‘Melomance’ is a team with unique color vocalist Minseok Kim and glamourous pianist Donghwan Jeong. Especially Donghwan Jeong has a brilliant career path, won the grand prize of the 7th Jarasum International Concur and CJ Tune Up. Since their first mini-album <Sentimental> on March 2015, the team gained many fans for 2 years, settling down as ‘major duo’.
Sunwoo Jung-A is a unique-color vocalist, talented in various genres such as pop, jazz, rock, and avant-garde. With the strange mixture of her voice with power and pureness, she has the power that audience once hear her voice cannot forget her. Also, another charm is to able to meet her life inside of her music. She is active as singer- songwriter, jazz vocalist, composer, and producer.
