담백한 어쿠스틱 사운드의 정수, 어쿠스틱콜로지

어쿠스틱콜로지는 뛰어난 스윙감과 막힘 없는 즉흥연주를 선보이는 기타리스트 조영덕과 정통을 기반으로 단단하면서도 부드러운 연주가 일품인 베이시스트 김대호가 함께 하는 듀오 연주팀이다. 두 연주자는 재즈피플이 선정한 라이징스타 이기도 하다. 베이시스트 김대호는 재즈를 포함한 다양한 음악장르의 앨범과 공연에 참여하고 있으며, 기타리스트 조영덕은 제6회 자라섬국제재즈콩쿨 대상 수상을 비롯하여 자신의 재즈 트리오로도 국내외에서 활발히 활동중이다. 이들은 2015년 10월 첫 앨범 <Nostalgia>를 발매하였으며, 2016년 6월에는 싱글음원 ‘여름 날’을 발표했다. 이들의 음악은 마치 언덕에서 바람이 귓가에 들려주는 소리 같으며, 자극적이지 않으며 담백하다. 또 인스턴트 음악들이 가득 쌓인 시대에서 산과 바다에서 채취한 날 것 그대로의 자연의 맛을 느끼게 해준다. 이번 자라섬에서는 단단하면서도 배려 깊은 김대호의 베이스와 그 위에서 여러가지 감정을 호소하는 조영덕의 기타 선율로 담백하고도 깊은 어쿠스틱 사운드를 들려줄 예정이다.

Essence of simple acoustic sound, Acousticology

Acousticology is a duo team with a guitarist Jo Young Duk, showing excellent talent with unstoppable impromptu performance, and a bassist Kim Dae Ho, performing solid but soft play based on the traditional skills. Two artists are also Rising Stars by JazzPeople. Bassist Kim Dae Ho has been participating various albums and performances with different genres of music while guitarist Jo Young Duk was awarded as Grand Prize of the 6th Jarasum Jazz Concur, has been active as his own Jazz trio both in and out of the country. They released the first album <Nostalgia> in October, 2015, followed by single music ‘Summer Day’ in June, 2016. Their music is like sound of wind by hill to your ears, not provocative but simple and plain. And, their music let you taste of raw and natural music of mountain and ocean in this world with piles of instant music. In Jarasum this year, solid and considerate bass by Kim Dae Ho and above the bass appealing many different feelings guitar by Jo Young Duk will perform simple but deep acoustic sound.
