화려하고 웅장한 빅밴드 사운드로 계층과 세대를 초월하다

재즈파크빅밴드는 차세대 색소포니스트 이인관을 중심으로, 피아니스트 지나(GINA) 등 젊은 실력파 뮤지션들이 의기투합해 만들어진 빅밴드이다. 18인조로 구성된 재즈파크빅밴드는 트리오(Trio)나 쿼텟(Quartet)에서 느끼지 못했던 빅밴드의 웅장함과 흥겨움으로 계층과 세대를 초월하는 음악적 공감대를 이끌어낸다. 특히 재즈파크빅밴드만의 흥미롭고 재치있는 퍼포먼스는 재즈를 낯설어 하는 관객들의 자연스러운 참여를 유도해내어 대중들에게 많은 사랑을 받고 있다. 재즈파크빅밴드는 2007년 1월 결성되었으며, 2008년 9월 첫 앨범을 발매하였다. 또, 지금까지 전국문예회관협회 우수공연으로 선정되어 부산, 대구, 광주, 제천, 해남, 제주 등 총 70회 이상의 전국문예회관 투어 공연을 진행하며 그들만의 음악세계를 넓혀가고 있다. 이번 페스티벌 라운지 무대에서는 화려하고 웅장할 뿐 아니라 흥겨움도 함께 하는 음악을 선보인다. 재즈는 흔히 어렵다라는 선입관을 깨고, 재즈파크빅밴드만의 독특한 방식으로 대중에게 친숙하게 다가서며 음악적 공감대를 이끌어내는 공연을 선사할 예정이다.

Free from class and generation by splendid and magnificent sound

Centering a rising star saxophonist InKwan Lee, Jazzpark bigband was created by young and talented musicians, such as a pianist GINA, with the same goal. Jazzpark bigband, consisting of 18 members, brings the musical common ground freeing from class and generation through magnificence and cheerfulness by a big band, nothing like trio nor quartet. In particular, the team’s uniquely witted and interesting performance let the audience participate naturally, which the public loves. Jazzpark bigband formed its team in January, 2007 and released the first album in September, 2008. Also, the performance was awarded as Excellent Performance by The Korean Cultural & Arts Centers Association, has performed over 70 times at The Korean Cultural & Arts Centers Tour in Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Jecheon, Jeju, and more, widening their music world. For the Festival Lounge Stage, not only splendid and magnificent but cheerful music will be shown. The team will uniquely approach the audience to break the prejudice that jazz is difficult music to bring musical common ground.
