라 팡파르 소그르뉘는 트럼펫, 트롬본, 색소폰, 수자폰 등 다양한 브라스 섹션과 드럼 위주로 구성된 7명의 연주자들이 행진을 하며 연주하는 마칭 밴드 그룹이다. 이들은 익살스러운 몸짓과 흥겨운 리듬으로 직접 현장 속에 뛰어들어 관객들과 서로 어깨를 부딪히고 호흡을 나누며 흥겨운 축제의 열기를 구석구석 전파한다. ‘터무니없는 팡파르’라는 반어적인 의미의 이름에 걸맞게, 라 팡파르 소그르뉘는 무대와 객석의 경계가 없는 축제의 최전선에서, 마이크도, 앰프도 없이 오직 악기와 목소리만 가지고도 메인 무대를 방불케하는 호응을 이끌어낸다. 올해 자라섬국제재즈페스티벌의 포커스 국가인 프랑스 출신의 라 팡파르 소그르뉘는 동유럽 전통음악에 재즈와 록, 훵키, 레게 등 다양한 장르의 음악 스타일을 접목시킨 이들만의 독특한 음악을 들려줄 예정이다. 라 팡파르 소그르뉘와 함께 아름다운 자라섬을 걸으며 축제의 진정한 재미를 느껴본다면 분명 또 하나의 값진 추억이 될 수 있을 것이다.

Emanation of our collective, La Fanfare Saugrenue, the brass band is composed of 7 to 9 musicians. Evolving on an original repertoire, tinted current musics, La Fanfare Saugrenue plays mainly in street, with ambulation, but adapts perfectly into fixed and stage. The pieces will be put rhythm into, coppered and influenced current music, but also of the cumbia, funk and original ‘sounds’(western, electro). The originality of La Fanfare Saugrenue also lies in his song titles and its arranged recoveries ‘Kashmir’(Led Zeppelin cover) and ‘Bicycle Race’(Queens cover) which charm the public. Eclectic, energetic, making the good share with the improvisations, La Fanfare Saugrenue evolves most of the time in this diagram with 7 musicians: Bass (Sousaphone, Tubes) Lead & improvisation (Trumpet, Saxophone and Trombone), Percussions (Large case, Case clear)
